Matt Coumbe, Ph.D.
Senior Consultant
Matt Coumbe, Ph.D. began his professional career teaching Social Science Research Methodology at North Dakota State University in the 1990’s. From there, he transitioned to the private sector where he ran a Research and Development firm which consisted of engineers, analysts and development professionals that concentrated on re-structuring, building and developing manufacturing and consumer service organizations. After 7 years of building this practice, Matt decided to integrate his technical and operational expertise with upstream areas including market research and market development. For the last several years, Matt has been working with some of the largest Fortune 500 firms to better understand markets, increase wallet and market share and launch new products more quickly and successfully. Matt’s areas of expertise focus on understanding the relative value an organization or brand has in relation to the larger industry and reducing the time-to-market through the introduction of data driving decision making in the New Product Development process.
